RAP is inviting local Indigenous artists to submit proposals of original artwork to commemorate the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation (2026) and Indigenous History Month (2027).
Applications are due March 31, 2026.

In recognition of National Indigenous Languages Day, University of Waterloo (Indigenous Relations and University Relations) are honoured to welcome celebrated Inuk artist Susan Aglukark to the University of Waterloo for Nomad: Correcting the Narrative, an immersive multimedia journey through the past generation of Canadian Inuit life, language, and resilience.
Blending Inuktitut and English with her signature contemporary sound, Susan shares personal stories, cultural history, and reflections on the impacts of rapid change and colonization, while uplifting the enduring strength of Inuit communities. This is sure to be a meaningful and engaging evening.
