First Peoples Healing Conference 2019
We are planning a two-day First Peoples Healing Conference in the winter of 2019.
The conference itself will feature an all Indigenous lineup, with workshops, speakers, performances, panels, discussion groups, Knowledge Keepers, Seers, and Medicine People; demonstrations of Indigenous ceremonies, demonstrations of Indigenous healing circles, a local Indigenous history walk, a local Indigenous medicine and food walk, as well as healing, singing, drumming, and dancing circles. We will also feature Indigenous artisans, crafters, and other vendors, particularly those from the Region in our vendors area. Panels and discussion groups will utilize local voices, especially those with lived experience, wherever possible. If you would like to volunteer, partner, or sponsor with the conference, please contact Rebecca Sargent.
Check back in late spring for details about tickets!
