National Indigenous Languages Day Event at University of Waterloo

In recognition of National Indigenous Languages Day, University of Waterloo (Indigenous Relations and University Relations) are honoured to welcome celebrated Inuk artist Susan Aglukark to the University of Waterloo for Nomad: Correcting the Narrative, an immersive multimedia journey through the past generation of Canadian Inuit life, language, and resilience.

Blending Inuktitut and English with her signature contemporary sound, Susan shares personal stories, cultural history, and reflections on the impacts of rapid change and colonization, while uplifting the enduring strength of Inuit communities. This is sure to be a meaningful and engaging evening.
